With so many furniture stores selling ready-made pieces, one could be making the stake of avoiding bespoke installations, or custom made furniture, because they think is overkill.
Is going bespoke overkill, or a winner?
Here are four reasons why bespoke is a winner, and why you should steer away from ready-made, when investing in good interior design for your home!
Four reasons, why bespoke wins every time!
MADE TO FIT | EFFICIENT STORAGE | MATERIAL & FINISH | SUSTAINABLE |

MADE TO FIT
As bespoke means made to fit, bespoke installations and furniture, eliminate the dreaded problem of negative space, or the awkward gaps resulting from a ready-made wall unit which does not quite reach the corner, or a sofa which looks too tiny against the wall, etc. If this has happened to you, perhaps you went out to source fillers, such as pot plants, sculptures, or occasional pieces, adding to the cost. Custom, or bespoke furniture and installations, may seem more expensive, but are designed for the specific wall or floor space they will occupy, thus eliminating the need for "fillers", which apart from screaming 'afterthought', these create a cluttered look, throwing out the room’s balance. So, when factoring into your budget the effort and expense of sourcing "fillers", only to end up with an improvised or less than perfect result, it is evident bespoke is not overkill, but a winner!

EFFICIENT STORAGE
Unlike ready-made storage units, which have generic storage facilities, bespoke pieces feature inherently attractive and smart storage solutions which are space efficient, thus eliminating negative space (gaps between shelving). Rather than spending money on organisation stores to get plasticky containers which are in effect appendages- not a cool look, for your sideboard or media cabinet internals, get better value for your money by investing on bespoke, storage solutions, to get the best functionality, and space efficiency. When it comes to storage solutions, bespoke is a winner!

FINISH & MATERIAL
Going bespoke, also allows you to select types of finishes to suit your interior design. Ready-made pieces are limiting when it comes to finishes, thus resulting again, in compromise. This would have a detrimental effect to the space you are creating. The fact bespoke allows you the choice of colour, grain and texture, which suit the interior design theme, and elevate your space, makes it a winner!
"...elevate your space. Compromise is not good value. - Bespoke is a winner!
SUSTAINABILITY
Ready-made are mostly mass produced using inferior materials, with the a focus on profit and most of them end up in landfill before long.
On the other hand, custom pieces are designed with the objective to serve the household for years to come. Custom pieces are not simply trendy, but rather, classy and timeless, therefore sustainable and a real winner!
